Episode 93 – Roundtable Discussion: Final Fantasy XV

BC Podcast 93 (Wide)

Joined by guest host Eric Brody, we critique Final Fantasy XV, the latest entry in the classic RPG series that notoriously spent a decade in development. We’re fairly divided over just how effective FFXV is at rekindling the Final Fantasy experience. If you’re a fan of the series, or Japanese RPGs in general, this one is worth a listen. But beware, there are spoilers! Plus, we discuss review embargos in the context of Horizon Zero Dawn, as Doc confesses his undying love for the game. Also, Chris lauds Fire Emblem Heroes, and we preview the upcoming season of Role With It.

We may even answer the burning question on everyone’s mind: is there a wrong way to love a chocobo? Spoiler: the answer is a resounding “no.”
